Drakulya

I've been sorting my images away lately and I keep coming across old work I forgot I had. I made this piece shortly after reading the Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I bought my father a hardback copy of the book and filled it full of photos of all the places the characters pass through on their journey. As a finishing touch I created this image and placed a copy at the appropriate page. The dragon design was created in Photoshop in mono and then merged onto a photo of an old historical document I found and cleaned up.
